NIHONGO WORKBOOK TAIKO STAGES 1-5

Nihongo Workbook Taiko are a collection of hands-on workbooks designed for students studying Japanese language from a beginner level. Each stage the increases content base as the students proficiency level improves. Covers core elements of the Japanese Language curriculum.

Nihongo Workbook Taiko Stage 1

Taiko Stage 1 is most suitable for beginners and provides an introduction to Japanese language and culture with enjoyable activities. Written in a format that will keep the students interested.

Nihongo Workbook Taiko Stage 2

Taiko Stage 2 follows from Stage 1 expanding the content base and providing an introduction to Japanese language and culture with a variety of activities. This book revises content covered in Stage 1 as well as introducing new content.

Nihongo Workbook Taiko Stage 3

Taiko Stage 3 follows on from Stage 2 expanding the content base. It builds on Japanese vocabulary and examines culture through a variety of activities.

Nihongo Workbook Taiko Stage 4

Taiko Stage 4 revises content covered in the previous stages, as well as expanding Japanese vocabulary and continues to introduce different aspects of Japanese culture.

Nihongo Workbook Taiko Stage 5

Taiko Stage 5 revises content of previous workbooks as well as introducing new vocabulary and basic Kanji. This stage also examines Japanese history and religion in more depth.

THE AUTHOR

Originally from Nara Japan, Akiko Radloff, moved to Australia in 2003. After a successful career in Japan, Akiko then worked for several years in Australia with a local QLD exporter. During this time Akiko undertook some volunteer work at a number of local Brisbane schools. Whilst working as a volunteer Japanese teacher’s assistant, Akiko had the opportunity to see how Australian students learn Japanese language and culture. At this time Akiko decided to write a workbook that would combine the core elements of the Japanese language curriculum whilst engaging them in activities that focus on Japanese culture. The end result was a workbook that covered core elements of the curriculum whilst keeping students motivated and engaged.
